ST. BRIGID (of Kildare, Ireland) PATRON SAINT ROSARY
St. Brigid is one of the patrons of Ireland and was known in her day as the Mary of Gael for her holiness, charity and life of purity. She was abbess (symbolized by the croiser) of an order of nuns and is also patroness of dairy workers and those who keep cattle.
The central disc is pewter with the Saint image set into the centerpiece with the Blessed Mother on the reverse, with a pewter crucifix.
