ST. CLARE (of Assisi, and the Poor Clares order) PATRON SAINT ROSARY
St. Clare of Assisi is the foundress of the Poor Clares order of religious sisters, and one of her emblems is the monstrance, which she prayed before when her house was being attacked, and it was spared! She is patroness of Italy, television, telephones and other media as well as religious life.
The central disc is pewter with the Saint image set into the centerpiece with the Blessed Mother on the reverse, with a pewter crucifix.
