ST. MARK (Gospel writer) PATRON SAINT ROSARY
St. Mark is the writer of the second gospel and traveled with many of the early Christians, including St. Peter, St. Paul, and St. Barnabas. Tradition holds he founded the church in Alexandria and is patron of notaries. The winged lion is symbol most often associated with this saint.
The central disc is pewter with the Saint image set into the centerpiece with the Blessed Mother on the reverse, with a pewter crucifix.
