ST. MONICA (Patron of Wives; Mother of St. Augustine) PATRON SAINT ROSARY
"It is not possible that the son of so many tears should perish." These words, spoken to St. Monica about her son St. Augustine, brought the mother hope and comfort. Since then, St. Monica has been known as the patroness of those with wayward children. Augustine was indeed converted and mother and son are now in Heaven.
The central disc is pewter with the Saint image set into the centerpiece with the Blessed Mother on the reverse, with a pewter crucifix.
