This a a Bible I have wanted for many years. I first became acquainted with it about 25 years ago from an acquaintance who had a softcover version. I was able to find Catholic Bible software that had it, but had always had my heart set on getting a hard copy version.
The Bible came about 1 week after I ordered it, and it was wrapped in plastic to protect it during shipment. The Bible is beautiful.
For those who are not aware, the Haydock Bible is the 18th century Bishop Challoner revision of the 16th-17th century Douai-Rheims Bible, and has copious notes by Fr. George Haydock, which are solidly Catholic (unlike the commentary in some more modern Bibles, which sound like they were written by liberal Protestants).
