Read with reservationThis was a very interesting book, based on a true story. While the content was intriguing, I found it a bit disconcerting on the Catholic level. This woman obviously can only reiterate what happened to her, but there is no indication of purgatory or hell...it is a very Protestant account of the afterlife. If one is not strong in the Catholic faith it could lead one to possibly discredit the authentic Catholic teachings of purgatory and hell. Dr. Neal was welcomed to the afterlife with joy and open arms by the people she encountered in her visions. Everything was beautiful and colorful, and very enticing. I am not saying this isn't a possibility, but find it strange there was no mention of a final judgment, etc. Overall, this is a book I would expect to find in a Protestant catalog, and not Catholic one. As I said, read it with reservation.
