St. Therese, sometimes spelled Theresa, of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face is one of the most beloved Catholic Saints. She lived as a cloistered Carmelite nun, offering what she called "her little way" to Jesus; a way of child-like trust and abandonment to love. Because of her great desire to win conversions, she was named patroness of missionaries.
