ST. WILLIAM (of Vercelli; Italy) PATRON SAINT ROSARY
This man of God was an orphan and became a hermit on Mount Vergine. After leading a pilgrimage he founded his own order and builty a monastery, but the austerity of his rule of life caused unrest among some. He left and founded other monasteries across Italy.
The central disc is pewter with the Saint image set into the centerpiece with the Blessed Mother on the reverse, with a pewter crucifix.
