This is the story of Pope John XXIII (23rd), who is best known for having called for the Second Vatican Council. Learn about his life beginning as a young priest, to being made a bishop, a Cardinal and finally Pope. Supposedly elected to be an "interim Pope" he was expected to maintain the status quo.
