ST. LUKE (of Antioch; Gospel writer) PATRON SAINT ROSARY
St. Luke was one of the men who traveled with Paul as they preached the Good News to the ancient world. His Gospels contain the touching stories of the Prodigal Son, the Annunciation and other themes not found in the others. He was a physician and thus is patron of doctors. The bull is his symbol for he wrote of Jesus' sacrifice.
The central disc is pewter with the Saint image set into the centerpiece with the Blessed Mother on the reverse, with a pewter crucifix.
